STOP DIGGING COST

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO BUILD A FOUNDATION WITH GROUND SCREWS?

HOW WE CALCULATE THE PRICE FOR INSTALLING GROUND SCREWS FOR YOUR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

How much is it worth to not have to dig? When you’re considering choosing ground screws instead of concrete posts, the time you save is one of the biggest arguments. In addition, think about how much physically demanding work you can avoid with ground screws – concrete is not a lightweight material. The time it saves make ground screws a very cost-effective solution. The installation only takes a few minutes per screw and you can start building on them immediately.

GROUND SCREW COST

HOW WE CALCULATE THE PRICE FOR THE FOUNDATION OF YOUR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT

In order to give you a price for our installation of ground screws for you, we need to know the requirements of your construction project. Many elements come into play in our assessment. For example, we have to take into account precisely what you’re going to build and where you’re going to build it, as well as the soil condition.

We have several different types of ground screws, so we are adaptable to what’s required for each unique project. When we know your requirements, we can assess which screw will work best for you.

SOME EXAMPLES

WHICH FACTORS AFFECT THE COST OF GROUND SCREWS FOR YOUR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT?

  1. How many square meters will the lean-to have?
  2. What type of wood do you want to use?
Depending on the design, different types of securing points are required.
  3. What are the ground conditions?

Ground conditions can vary greatly and therefore the length of the screw needs to be matched with care.
  4. Is it possible to secure an external beam to the house?
An external beam is a form of foundation beam on which the lean-to is then built.
  5. Are there differences in ground levels where the terrace is to be built?
  6. What bearing capacity does the lean-to conservatory need to have?
For example, will there be a hot tub on the wooden deck in the future, or are you planning to have a bigger conservatory later on?
  7. Which area will the ground screws be installed in?
  1. How high will the fence be?
  2. Will the fence allow wind penetration?
  3. What is the wind load in the area?
  4. What CC-distance are you considering?
  5. What are the ground conditions?

STOP DIGGING’S GROUND SCREWS COMPARED WITH OTHER BRANDS

You can buy ground screws in several different places – but not Stop Digging’s ground screws. We want to emphasise that our screws should not be confused with the type of ground screw or anchor sold at DIY stores. Stop Digging’s ground screws are in a class of their own. They are not sold in the construction trade and are not comparable to other brands (like Stavrex or Krinner). Stop Digging does not sell ground screws for self-installation – you buy them directly from us, we install them professionally for you and after installation you can proceed with your construction immediately.

SCREWS FOR EVERYTHING

THE COST OF GROUND SCREWS VARIES

Stop Digging’s screws are available in different models and sizes, with different prices to follow suit. What is common to all our ground screws is that they are only sold assembled and ready. The adapter screw has a mounting plate that can be adjusted in height and width for maximum precision, and the post screw is exactly what is sounds like – a ground screw with a fastening part adapted for posts. The beam screw is the right choice for installing external beams and building floors, whereas the pipe screw is an excellent foundation for traffic signs, for example.

The price can also vary depending on the difficulty of the installation, such as when there are rocks in the ground and a steel stud anchor is required. Our experienced installers can deal with all the challenges that can arise! The installation is carried out using Stop Digging’s specially developed equipment and tools, in which all our installers are rigorously trained, insured and certified to use.
